How the archive survives 100 years without me maintaining it.
Git primary. Six-mirror strategy: GitHub, Codeberg, GitLab, Radicle, Sourcehut, self-hosted Gitea. Any three surviving preserves the tree.
Plain markdown. Open Knowledge Format frontmatter. No proprietary databases. No compiled artifacts that require a runtime.
Static HTML. Free tier on Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages. If both die, the git repos still render locally.
CC-BY-4.0 for prose. MIT for code. Explicit reproduction and forking rights.
Executor with age key, sops passphrase, and a one-page runbook. Encrypted dead-drop.

How do I balance breadth (many small repos) with depth (fewer, deeper ones)?
Is donations-only sustainable at family scale, or does it need a supporting engagement layer?
What’s the smallest set of habits that actually compound? Journaling suggests fewer than I thought.
